Three intellectual women of the 20th century - the librarian Helene Nathan, the writer Anna Seghers and the philosopher Hannah Arendt - are the heroines of this graphic novel. Not only their Jewish identity, but also their thinking made it impossible for them to live in Nazi Germany.
