Anna Faroqhi and Haim Peretz

Preschoolers in a village in Brandenburg visit a beekeeper and learn a lot about the social and cooperative life of bees. They creatively express what they have experienced and observed in drawings, wonder discs, cutout animation, and shadow plays. The result is a magical short in which the children are both participants and authors. At the same time, they experience how they can create moving images themselves without ever using a cell phone.

The film was made in cooperation with the Groß Schauen daycare center and as part of the youth work of the FILM WITHOUT BORDERS Bad Saarow festival.
