Lost Wax

The children, Alma and Sita form small wax figures. The staff of a foundry help them go through the creation of bronze figures based on their wax models. The ancient process is called lost wax casting.

Sand, heat, fire, acid and water are the elements that are needed to create a bronze in a dramatic procedure that today has become a specialized art tool and might be extinct soon.
