The film depicts workflows at the AWO Refugium Lichtenberg, a reception center for refugees in Berlin. The individual scenes are each shown in one shot. The individual scenes are each shown in one setting. The filmmakers thus draw on the formal language of the early cinema, in which at the turn of the last century, the brothers Lumière and other film pioneers discovered the world in a new way.
